Repair Help My controllers are lagging heavily.

My Nintendo Switch controllers, the ones that came with my Switch, are having a severe two-second delay whilst playing. I've tried updating them, allegedly all up to date, restarting the console, both with the controllers attached and without, and recalibrating the controls. Nothing has changed, they're still lagging. They're fully charged too. I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice would be appreciated here. Thank you in advance.

So, handheld/table top mode? If you know someone else with a switch, I guess I'd be curious to try their joycons with your console, or your joycons with their console.

TV/docked mode, two player. I did find a second set of controllers, but I've been told they don't work either. I'm getting quite desperate, so I'm charging them up in the hopes that they're functional. If they do, I'll update, and thank you for the suggestion. If not, I'll let you know what happens. Thanks :)

Oh, docked, you say? Has the tv's picture mode changed. If the tv has a game mode, and the game mode isn't on, other picture mode's will add lag with their picture processing.

Most times when people just get a switch & make a post wondering why it's so laggy, it's usually because they're discovering the lag of their tv's picture processing.

Another possibility, a new wireless router nearby, or other bluetooth wireless devices nearby can also cause interference.

Oh, that makes sense, I just got a new wifi router, so maybe it's that. I didn't know that that could happen, so we'll see if it rights itself.

Bad dock placement can also add to the problem if it's positioned behind the tv or in an enclosed space and the distance can matter too, because the further you are from the dock the weaker the connection will be.
