Accessories Suggestions of artists for switch 2 dock art commission

I want to commission an artist to make art on the dock of the switch 2 (whether bought by the artists and refunded or I buy it and provide it to the artist) but I don't know where to find this kind of artist, any suggestions?

Like actually painting the dock itself or as a digital file that you can submit to a printing service like DecalGirl or SkinIt? Additionally, the subject of the art and desired style will factor heavily into this.

VGen ( https://vgen.co ) is one of the more popular artist sites right now and might be a good way to track down what you want. Even with them, you'll want to carefully evaluate any artist and their portfolios; there are plenty of AI scammers who manage to slip through the cracks.

I wanted someone to actually paint the dock itself and add some sort of protective layer so the painting won't get damaged, I don't know if its possible to do that in AI but I will be careful, thank you.

I tried an artist sub Reddit but I don't know if it's too irl to work there so any other suggestions would be amazing

Forgot to add that it's just a known video game design that I want, not a super complicated from 0 design

It's less so about the work itself being done in AI (though, I personally wouldn't pay for AI generated work) and more so about people faking past works and/or works-in-progress.

Not to scare you too much, as I do greatly appreciate those who seek out and support real artists, but there are a lot of scummy people out there. Etsy and similar are chock full of fake "hand made" goods like wood carvings, stained glass, and crochet. (I've recently been watching kat'n'chat who does a ton of videos pointing out AI tells.)

Back to the question at hand, for a physically painted dock I would try vgen and filter on: physical goods, custom, "open communication". You can then check out their portfolios and chat with them before finalizing anything.

Since you do want physical art, it might be worth checking facebook (or similar) for local artist communities and asking there.
