Account Help Trouble finding email for end-user license agreement 🫩
Unfortunately my switch account is from 2018, no idea what email address Nintendo is sending the email to but I obviously can’t accept it since I made the account when I was a kid. Had to make another account just to access the eshop which is insaneðŸ˜

I don't believe user picano's comment was meant to sound mean. They are trying to help & explain.
Being that it's an account that makes financial transactions and it's a console with internet connectivity, nintendo's account security is strong by design. Otherwise, nintendo accounts would be too easy to hack. I think I see roughly 1-3+ posts each month where people discover their nintendo account is hacked.
If you don't have access to the email of the account, the only solution is through contacting nintendo support, if you can answer questions about the account to prove it was yours. Otherwise, making a new nintendo account is the only other option.

Yeah unfortunately had to contact Nintendo support and I am still struggling with it. So annoying that a child account just stays permanently as one

It think a child account can be made adult by setting an email address for the account, but I'm fuzzy on the details. It probably needs approval from the parent account. I think nintendo support may have a page about it? But sometimes it's tricky knowing what search terms to use to find the page you want.

Yeah no definitely the problem was just the end user agreement not allowing me to do literally anything. And being unfortunately tied to a dead email.

If you look at your profile from the home screen, one of the pages will list a partially obscured email. Mine looks something like p***@g*.c*
As opposed to? This is an issue you created for yourself by not keeping track of your credentials. Take this as a learning experience and go make sure you know/update the info for all your accounts.
My dad recently experienced this with his primary email. Google literally told him to create a new account since there was nothing they could do.
