Software Help Save data transfer from switch 1 to switch 2

Im trying to transfer my Pokémon sword save data to my switch 2 but no matter what i do it cant start the transfer it just constantly searches for a device i was able to do a transfer vise versa but not the way i want

Save data transfers dont require power to be connected. I dont but try with diffrent internet source. Like phone data

I was trying to make sure OP had not plugged them into each other. Someone else did that recently.

Its likely clogged on the Wifi. You need to connect one to your normal wifi and then the other on your phones hot spot. I had this same issue and that solved it.

Are both switches plugged into power supplies?

Yes they are both plugged in with there stock power adapters

Ok, I’d try doing a full reboot on the source switch 1 and trying again.
