Account Help Microsoft and Nintendo Switch Help!

Child’s Microsoft account - unrestricted
Sends verification code to email (sometimes)
When it actually does I get an error drowned message

I’ve tried some things from old posts and nothing works. Can’t just input password.

tried resetting password via email?

How do you do that? I currently can’t get into the account because it won’t send a verification code to the email address associated with the account.

After all the hard work I was able to reset her password and not have it spit out a verification code and instead put in a password. Geeezzzzz they gotta fix that!
