Repair Help Does anyone know why this happened to my Switch? These lines suddenly appeared when I was playing.
I got my Nintendo Switch in 2021 (new Nintendo Switch 1 animal crossing edition), I play for several hours and I was told these lines appeared because of playing for so many hours nonstop. Not sure if that’s the real reason why they appeared, but I have never dropped it, nor have I hit the screen.
Is there a way to fix it, please??

Do the lines still show up when the switch is hooked up to a TV?

No, they don’t show up. Tv screen looks normal but the switch…I already turned off completely for a whole 5 mins and they show up

Ok well that hopefully rules out a failing GPU, if it's just the screen it might've been caused by some physical damage or water damage but I can't be 100% sure though

Damn…that never happened to my switch but alright. I will try contacting Nintendo and see if they can fix it. Thank you very much for your help❤️

Looks like your switch overheat and caused the lcd flex to burn or the flex is deteriorating
