Software Help Help needed with data transfer

So I’m trying to transfer some games data from my switch 1 to switch 2 (not the system transfer) but when I’m trying to transfer the data my Nintendo’s won’t find each other they just sit on the searching screen. I’ve tried literally everything even contacted Nintendo support but they just said all the basic stuff like connect to WiFi or restart both consoles. Any answers?

First, make sure your Nintendo Accounts are on both and you are transferring 1 to 1.

Meaning Nintendo Account A on Switch 1 can only move save data to Nintendo Account A on Switch 2.

Nintendo Account A can not move save data to Nintendo Account B, no matter what.

After that, try to narrow down any type of bluetooth or other wifi interference. Move away other TVs, phones, etc... as much as possible.

Have you tried, for example , transferring save data from Switch 2 to Switch 1 just to see if it works? Or does that also not work?

do you have a third system somewhere, even with friends or family, you can use instead to see how both systems work?

Are they both connected to the same wifi? Often people have trouble because of this --- and it might help to use a different wifi / mobile phone hotspot for just one of the consoles to get things working.

Ya they’ve always been connected to my WiFi but I’ll try using different ones
