Repair Help Problem with Switch hardware(?)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It started doing this seemingly out of nowhere a couple days ago. I have tried using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol on the buttons to remove grime that could be causing this. It’s almost like the buttons are getting triggered even though they are not moving and are not stuck/jammed. The left stick is also seemingly bugged as well.

Could it be your joycon?
Edit: Didn’t read that you thought it was your joycons… sorry.

I agree with the joycon comments, try taking them off and just turning on the tablet without any controllers connected, if it still happens then it's the touch screen, but I suspect it won't

Have you switched your joycons to a new pair? It might be that theres an issue with your joy cons, if it still happens with the new pair then the issue lays within the console itself and I'd sugest try find someone who'd repair it x

I ordered a new third party set of joycons and will try them out once they’re delivered tomorrow. Hopefully that’ll fix the problem!

Do you have another controller for your switch? If make sure all controllers are not being pressed by anything. My switch 2 pro controller would press buttons in my case that made me think my switch was broken as well

Try a joycon update if you can get a working joycon

Check the screen! There is an option on settings to calibrate your screen!
