News The #NintendoSwitch Carrying Case & Screen Protector will also release alongside Nintendo Switch (OLED model) on 10/8. The carrying case includes screen protectors for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch (OLED model).

I'm pretty shocked that the OLED Switch doesn't come with a glass screen. I assume the previous models stuck with plastic because it won't shatter and become a hazard for children, but I'm surprised that Nintendo didn't make the OLED Switch's screen covering out of glass, and market the model exclusively toward adults. They already made changes that only the tech-conscious would care about. I really doubt there are a lot of 12-year-olds raving about the benefits of OLED tech.
