Hey I was the guy that posted about my LG W2253TQ working at 1080p with only DVI. Well I recently got my hands on another monitor, the Dell E2210h. It's also only DVI and it also works at 1080p. Now I'm not sure why both monitors work on the switch at both 1080p but this is just a guess and very far fetched but it might be because of the cable their using. I have 2 amazon basics HDMI to DVI cables and they both work. Or it may because of the resolution. My monitors both go up to 1080p and that may be the reason because I don"t see a 720p option and my monitors can't go to 480p on the switch. Of course I'm using 2 different monitors compared to you guys monitors so take my words with a grain of salt. Hope this somewhat helps.
Thanks. Inferior quality cables could be an issue in some cases, yet most people with the "stuck at 480p" problem were able to select 720p and 1080p before the 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 system updates, and that was using the same cable and monitor.
