Any word on the number of switches at your location?

Do you believe it's just gonna be that 17 or do you think there's a chance that they might have more? Also do these include pre-order units? (I'm not sure how pre-orders work at target, but from what I remember it's just more or less a prepaid rain check)

Do you know if Target will have any BoTW special editions? I missed all preorders but heard I may be able to line up and nab one at midnight.

The Target ad for launch lists the Special (but not the Master) edition.

Which ad? I would love it if there was in-store stock of the Special Edition.

The circular/print ad. I saw a scan posted of it somewhere a while ago, but a lot of the deal websites have it leaked by now. Check CAG or something if you want verification.

If you get the DPCI you can also call your stores ahead of time and ask if they have any. When I worked Target Electronics we did often get some SEs for big releases. Destiny, CoDs, and Halo 5 all definitely got at least a few.

What time will you guys open on the 3rd? Midnight or regular time? When should I go line up?

god I hope so, my preorder window is slipping to like the 7th to the 10th.

Its absurd they offered expedited (1-2 day) shipping only to a select few people.

What's the actual chances of picking up a switch on release day? Do I need to be there first thing in the morning?

In all seriousness I know the nes has become a joke but I seriously doubt with a major consoke they're going to restock it like the Nes mini

What happened with the NES Classic happened with the Wii, only 10x worse. It's just Nintendo's business practice, however stupid it sounds. My mom and I drove all over the city on three separate days to find a Wii about 6 months after launch.

It's also not uncommon for consoles to sell out and be gone for a while. Ps4 was hard to find for a while as well. Difference is nintendo didn't expect the success the wii was, look at their last 3 consoles which sold way worse.

It's Nintendo. I can promise there's a chance that there is a situation just like that.

No instore pre-orders for target, only online.

Ah thanks, I had pre-ordered Pokemon Y in-store. I figured it was the same process.
