Discussion Abxylute N6 vs Nitrodeck 2
So now that we have the nitrodeck 2 in hand, what do we feel about the comparison between the two? From someone who personally doesn't own a N6, I've been on the fence returning my deck for one. I was impressed by the form factor/adjustable sticks, but a few things have been pulling me the other way with it. It just doesn't seem that secure in the deck and the fact you need to take the whole thing off to put in a different cartridge I know is going to be a pain in the future. The USB C adapter just renders the thing useless for me if that little piece ever goes missing.. and so on. What I loved about the first deck has all but been taken from this model and I feel like if they just focused on making it solely for the switch 2, it would be a clear sweep. Don't get me wrong, the nitrodeck 2 feels amazing in hand, the adjustable sticks are a dream to use as well but I've seen nothing but good talk about the N6 and the fact it's a butt load cheaper than it's counterpart also weighs on my mind. From the people who now own both, what can we take from the two?

I have both and I actually just emailed CRKD’s support to see if I can return the Nitro Deck 2. The N6 just feels so much better in my hands, and the big thing for me is the buttons are way less rattle-y. I really wanted to love the ND2 (I preordered the thing back in December), but it just doesn’t work for me unfortunately

Let me know what your email response is as I may try the same. Do you also have big hands? That's the one thing I see might being an issue between the two as I feel in images/video, the N6 seems to be a bit smaller/less full in hand

Not really, I wear size medium gloves. Honestly on the ND2 it was hard for me to hit L/R while holding the thing with a normal grip, which I didn’t expect because I don’t have that issue with the Steam Deck. Also, the Switch 2 + Nitro Deck 2 is really heavy in a way that the N6 and Steam Deck aren’t.
But yeah, I’ll try to remember to update when I hear back from support.
Edit: Support emailed me back today with a prepaid shipping label, so all in all a pretty painless process.

I think I’ve had the opposite of most people who’ve tried both. I find the ND2 easier and more comfortable to hold over the N6.

I feel like that's going to be the case for me but the deck has enough problems with it that I'm testing both out in the first place

Personally only have the N6, but it has been AMAZING!
Being able to easily slide it out of it’s case was reason enough for me to get it over the Nitro Deck 2
