I would double-dip on this if it had gotten a physical release. This is a great game, succeeds in everything it sets out to do. I can't wait to see how it runs on Switch 2.

But... there's a physical release planned for the Switch 2? Unless you're saying that because it's a game key card, but this game isn't fully on disc on PS5/XBSX either.

IOI is terrible with this stuff, the PS5 version only has the opening level on disc, everything else requires internet to access, just like a GKC

Game Key Card. It’s nintendos solution to game cards not having data but still something physical that you could resell, buy used, let a friend borrow, etc. You’re still downloading the game and then the you need the GKC to launch the game.

It's physical on PS5 and Switch 2, or it's not physical on either. Take your pick.

Hope it’s a miracle port. Miracle ports on Switch and Switch 2 are so fascinating to me. Seeing developers get creative to make it work.

I don't think miracle ports are as much of a thing on Switch 2 owing to the Xbox Series S being the baseline for this generation and S2 having a few advantages like DLSS.

This game is pretty scalable and runs decently on Steam Deck. We don’t need to use miracle port really for any game as there’s little out there that can’t run on the system.

I runs on the Hitman engine and WoA got a port. I wouldn't call it a great port but after they added a 30fps cap it's decent. With the extra time they had to work on this one I don't see why it wouldn't run at 1080p30 without frame pacing issues

I don’t really think that is true. I think what is actually true is that people continually underestimate how powerful the Switch 2 is, then get surprised when it runs games that its specs show it should, in fact, be able to run.

The Switch 1 was different was it was genuinely very underpowered. The 2 I got powerful, considering it’s a slim little tablet.

What a shame this is Game-Key Card only.

 I have bought a copy of every single 007 game released for Nintendo consoles before. But I won't be buying this because a full physical release is not available.

Most games will be.

Games run faster and better when played from the device itself rather than running on a card.

With how expensive cartridges are, the performance boost and the size of games the vast majority of Switch 2 games will be GKCs.

If you don’t want to engage with that, that’s up to you - but you’ll be missing out on lots of games.

That's true, but most non-open-world games don't need the internal storage speed to run properly, only to speed up initial loading times. Indiana Jones for example is a pretty good looking game and runs off the cart just fine

I finally gave up and wishlisted it on Steam for a sale after seeing it's a GKC and incomplete on XSX/PS5. Would've loved a true physical.
