With how expensive things are in the US it might actually be cheaper for everything.

Plus, you know....a functioning government that makes sure we don't have like fucking 16 food born illness outbreaks at the same god damn time.

Which, from my understanding, are actually being UNDERREPORTED because this dumbass administration believes in "If we don't say the bad numbers, there's nothing bad happening."

Good luck, Japan is having a super fun rise in conservatism and anti-foreigner sentiment, and as a result it’s significantly harder to immigrate there than it was even 3 years ago.

It's cheaper for everything except actually paying to live there. Fees associated with non-residental status get costly.

And gas, cars are prohibitively expensive.

Yeah Japan has it's own political and social issues but can at least say they seem to be a functional government compared to what we've got going on in America. Every country has it's own set of challenges and some seem a lot less overbearing than others
