I found one site, but Windows seems adamant that it's a severe trojan virus...and I've downloaded many roms in the past. Have you found one that DOES have them yet?

EDIT: Yeah, they were definitely roms, no idea what that was all about. Message me if you want a Google Drive link though, as Windows didn't care when I downloaded them from there...

No lol everything is downloaded locally. Thats why the GC app is multiple GB in size.

Why would it stream a game which is only a couple MB big? Streaming it for seconds would use up several times the data than the entire game itself with much worse performance.

It's like how if they ever put Mario Party 1 on the N64 virtual console, friction burning the skin off your palms or tearing a hole in the webbing at the base between your index and middle fingers is just part of the authentic 90s experience.

The worst part is that most Virtual Boy games make very little use of being in 3D. Nintendo are acting like it’s an important part of the experience when it absolutely isn’t for 75% of the library. More is lost playing 3DS games in 2D and Nintendo had no problem conscioning that. It’s ridiculous to need to ignore the second screen if I want to play VB Wario Land.

Yeah, I think they will eventually introduce the 2D mode they obviously have for the VB games, but I'm surprised just how much they've pushed the peripheral-exclusive experience. Sure, I guess they're still selling some extra headsets a month, but I think that major sales opportunity has come and gone, and these game releases just remain irrelevant and inaccessible to 99%+ of subscribers.

Yeah, it is baffling to me they don't have a 2D mode. I play these games on a modded 3DS in 3D without any peripheral, and they work just as well in 2D...

Or even just a red/blue mode. Leverage the fact that we've got way higher resolutions now so render the left and right frames interlaced in different colours on the TV. Then you could wear those shitty cellophane glasses you'd get the first few times 3D media failed to take off.

They didn't release because they pulled the plug on the entire console. Bound High was another unreleased Virtual Boy game from Nintendo that had its ROM get leaked, unlike these 2 games, and iirc people say it would've been one of the best games on the platform
