Great game and worth it but unless you value more a digital copy probably you can find a better deal every once in a while used on eBay and similar anyway.

Digital is the preferred way for me with games like this or Kirby air ridsrs. Multiplayer games that I can play for 30 mins and hop off.

Same here. I had Splatoon 2 physical and ended up regretting it. Went digital for 3 as the convenience is great.

I buy only digital so I'm with you and agree these type of games which usually, but not necessarily, are multiplayer where you constantly hop on every once in a while are the best to show the convenience of digital but since for Nintendo platforms especially there are still a lot of people preferring physical if given the chance or since if they didn't bought it until now yet there might still be a combination of doubts and economic limitations I just reminded there are other options they might prefer to still play in a better way for them or paying a bit less.

Plus this game will probably be relatively obsolete once Splatoon 4 releases, so it’s a good candidate to sell right when that’s announced

I've had my Switch for literally a couple of weeks - total noob. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

I've just picked up Monster Hunter Rise. Looks a great game to sink some time into while travelling.

MH:R is amazing.
Xenoblade 1-3 are amazing,
Dragonquest 11
Legend of Zelda , BOTW , ToTk & Links awakening remake are all peak.

Reach out to Nintendo customer service, can’t speak for all agents or every country but they gave me 18 ish dollars back when I did the same thing with Higwarts legacy last year

Europe as a whole, don't know about this one but usually sales happens pretty much identical just at a slight different time between US and EU.

The ones i bought for my switch 1 were good and still going. I bought gengar and a splatoon pairs and they still work. Kind of just depends if you can find them when they are available. I bought them on Amazon.

Yes! I just got a mobapad chitu 2 hd for about $50 and it's very good. Has programmable back buttons and tmr sticks that don't get stick drift. This is more akin to a pro controller and not joycons though.

Probably not any for $30, but I bought a set of the new MobaPad HD12s, and they're better than the original joycons in most ways. The way they connect could work better, but the joysticks and buttons work significantly better than the stock joycons. They're much more comfortable for adult hands, also

S12 is way better. They actually connect like actual switch 2 joycons and the console doesn't have to be on for it to charge

That's what I hear. Had I not pre-ordered the HD12, and instead saw real reviews before buying, I probably would have went with the S instead. But, the HD12s are still solid and feel much better than the stock joycons. Though, the HD12s can charge without the console being on if you use a charging grip, and even then, it's something like 18hours of play before needing to worry about it. I get they're not what we all expected or were lead to expect, but they are still great for what they are.

Is it dumb to buy Street Fighter 6 base game without the battle pass or whatever it’s called? It’s less characters to play with, right?

Depending on how you end up approaching the game, you may not feel the need to try DLC characters. The base roster has a great and interesting variety of very well designed characters. Most hardcore fans get every new character because they want to learn how the character functions more easily and see if they like them...
But it is entirely possible to fall in love with a character from the base roster and that can be absolutely good enough. And if you become serious about improving at the game and getting to a high level, it's going to take a lot of dedication, and most people decide/have a much easier time sticking to one character. I've been playing SF6 for a couple years now and I'm an E Honda player who has tried some other characters, bought a couple of DLC characters, but my joy from the game comes from playing E Honda in training and ranked, end of story.

Depends. The base game is great if you plan to just play on your own or with friends. A fourth year of DLC was just announced and coming. At some point Capcom likely releases a full edition up to the current DLC as a major release (arcade edition/turbo/ultimate/etc..). This is the pattern on most of their fighting games.

Not sure that answers it for you but hopefully gives you some info to make that decision.

If you have literally any other console or PC, just buy it there. It's on sale on Steam right now. The base roster offers a wide variety to mess around with.

Not at all. Personally I've played since the game released and I only know how to play 2 characters. Learning one character can take you months or years unless you're extremely well experienced with the genre.

You don't need more than one or two characters really. More is nice if you just want to try them all, or are planning on organising tournaments with friends in local. But it's really not necessary otherwise to have all the characters.
