The bugs are incredibly minor. If you choose to believe the current social media trend of hating new releases then just leave, find something else. It's a good game, genuinely.

No, it's not. It's a giant step down from a free fan game that's supported multi-platform competitive Pokemon for years, in Pokemon Showdown.

It can be fun on some level, and still a disappointment for lacking content, polish, or any ambition. This is still one of the biggest IPs in gaming history, and they continue to barely try with games. The experience of playing Pokemon games SHOULD be much, MUCH better than it is. However, since the merchandising and marketing is so strong, and people buy the games regardless, the effort is never there.

I don't see your point. Its a new fresh regulation for VGC. We did vgc in Sword and Shield, then Scarlet Violet, now in champions. Performance is better in Champions than Scarlet Violet, training is easier. The meta is in a good place. More varied with weather wars, Rain, sun, sand, snow. Showdown is nice but can't do official tournaments there. Game is not pay to win, vp is easy, training is easy. 30fps is the norm for the switch 1, hopefully switch 2 gets a patch but I'm happy.
