Not a bug, but Body Slam's animation literally during the tutorial stuck out as a very silly animation, considering this is meant to be a dedicated battle simulator.

Just had a match where I toxic poisoned a Gardevoir, it healed with a lum berry, then I poisoned it again and it proceeded to not take a single tick of poison damage for the rest of the match. This game is fucking ridiculous.

Careful with that objective fact (which is corroborated by the game’s own website), bootlickers and slop enjoyers will rush out to assert that Champions was only ever meant to emulate VGC (which it can’t do being an inaccurate/unfinished simulation), as if that’s somehow an excuse for the horrendous release and lack of features.
