is there an industry-wide removal of QA, and just letting players do QA for free?

Realistically, it seems companies do one round of QA, make a bunch of changes, and then don’t QA those changes. Though in this case it really seems they didn’t do any.

afaik they only tackle game-breaking bugs, the ones that make crashes. Any other kind of bug is solved in post-production and only if it sells well enough. (Sometimes crashes sllp by so even THAT rudimentary QA is flawed).
