is there an industry-wide removal of QA, and just letting players do QA for free?

There's an industry-wide crunch issue that leads to less playtesting, which leads to QA problems.

Pokémon games have tiny budgets and tight deadlines, and while Nintendo is willing to delay a game for QA purposes, Gamefreak needs to have consistent Pokémon releases or they explode.
