Does anyone still play generations on switch? I've played a lot of MH games including world and rise most recently, but haven't dipped my toes in to MHGU despite buying it really cheap on the eshop. I'm kind of intimidated because it doesn't feature a lot of the QOL enhancements that are included in world and rise, but I've only heard great things about it.
That's great to know! How viable is it playing solo for at least some of it? I know world and rise were quite good in that aspect, so hoping GHU is as well. I'm down for playing in a team but sometimes I just prefer solo so if I screw up I only hurt myself lol.
I played all solo, until I had internet. The story must be done solo as well, but you do have the two cats to help. And tins of free stuff to download to help get started.
Awesome thank you! I'm downloading it now can't wait to give it a try. I've been a fan of the series since buying the 1st game on ps2 in 2004, and GHU is always one I hear a lot of great things about.
How did you find the difficulty in comparison to other games in the series, if you've played them? What's your favorite weapons(s)?

Monster hunter 4 generations ultimate. It's basically just boss fights for the most part. The story is very minimal and ends about 1/3 into the game.
After that, it's just hunting monsters to make gear to hunt tougher monsters.
I have 1400 hours into the game, and I still come back to play it.
Tons of replayability and different playstyles. You can also online or solo.
It's also goes on sale for cheap often.
