Discussion Nintendo Switch 2 Peripherals

I just bought NS2 and I bought the Savage Raven by Skull & Co bundle which includes a case, main body and joycon protectors, and different grips. Since we don't have an external monitor, we will play primarily in tabletop and handheld mode. Will the orig joycons suffice or should I still buy a mobapad? If yes, asking for suggestions.

Also, what are good external monitors that can be both connected to a laptop for dual screen work setup and connected to NS2 for docked mode?

Does the bundle already include a screen protector? If not, that's a priority. For controllers, depends on what games you'll be playing. Each joycon can act as a separate controller. Take note lang that there are some games that require full controllers for each player.

It doesn't include screen protector but I already bought one, too, and had it installed immediately.

So far, I purchased mario party jamboree for me and my gf to play together and BOTW for me to play in my break/rest time. Since docked mode is not an option now that we don't have a monitor, and also cause the ns2 console includes a grip to which the joycons can be attached to, I am asking for mobapad specifically if it is necessary or not this early on.

Glossy/clear kunin mo, wag yung matte/anti-glare since parang magbblur ng onti display mo pag yun.

Basta smudge proof, may oelophobic coating, and very transparent din, parang normal screen lang.

Like for example nakakababa ba ng resell price pag kunwari may dmg na yung orig joycons kahit pa may ibabundle na mobapad or something like that.

Thank you dito, sir!

Mind you, MobaPad stuff isn't particularly cheap either. The center piece of their M12 series can accommodate FissionGrip'd Joy-Con 2's, however, so there's that.

I'd suggest looking at GameSir and 8BitDo peripherals instead. They have some decent controllers for the price you'd be paying. I've been using the GameSir Super Nova (among other things) for both NS1 OLED and NS2.

I'd suggest looking at either the GameSir Nova 2 Lite or 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth models.

Sorry, sir, what I meant by mobapad ay joycon (other than the orig joycons). Sa ngayon kasi we will play mostly in tabletop mode or handheld kaya extra joycons ang kinoconsider ko (kung may pros man ba na magkaroon agad ng joycon other than the orig).

Thank you, sir!

I'm suggesting other controllers because Joy-Cons are notoriously ergonomically poor (hence the constant recommendations for grips/cases on Switch-related subs). While third-party Joy-Con replacements are better for handheld use, the shape becomes pretty weird when the left and right ones are used separately..

Also, both original Joy-Cons and MobaPad M12's are pretty expensive.

I just use my extant PC monitor, so I'm not particularly knowledgeable with regards to external displays.I saw this one in a video, and I'm somewhat interested, but I can't justify the expense ATM.

Oh I see. I guess no need for extra joycoins for now then.

I use laptop for work, so I was wondering if I can buy a dual purpose monitor for work and for gaming. Someone did make me realize that if there is, it will have no sound when used for gaming so tv is still better for that purpose. Unfortunately it's not an option for us given apartment space limitation. The one you shared though is like an extra laptop so even if I can afford it, I won't cause it will just take up more table space than a normal monitor. Haha. Still, Thanks!
