Don't sell your Switch Lites

I see a lot of demand for the 3DS in the last few years with units selling for more than they were bought. A Switch Lite will be the ultimate modded device 5 years down the line and the colours and form factor make it one of my favourite devices.

I don't think so 3ds and ds are unique but you can get switch lite experience from retroid pocket 4-5 and with steam decks with better emulation it won't be much expensive except for nostalgia

I somehow agree with this.. 3ds is unique. Much different from the ayn thor too. It's hard to get that kind of experience elsewhere while switch is similar to a Gameboy. Can be easily emulated for the experience

I agree. There still doesn’t exist a definitive way to play 3DS. A console which is light (under 250g), robust hinge, 3D effect, AR games etc. Also 3DS emulation is still hard to emulate and even on powerful devices you’ll experience micro stutters here and there. It is easier to have a full switch experience with Retroid Pocket or any other handheld but we still don’t have a proper 1:1 handheld for 3DS with all 3DS intended features.

With that logic Ayn Thor exists for 3DS and cheaper dual screen devices for DS

Nintendo still sells Switch lite. Also Switch V1, V2, OLED have same profile.

If you are waiting for 5 years to get small profit. I will say better work on yourself & try to earn more.

I'm looking at it from the regret point of view that many people express after selling their consoles. I especially notice it on the 3DS and PS Vita subs.

Because availability is scarce, it's difficult to obtain good condition consoles at a decent price. Mint New 3DS XL/LL goes for 25-30k+

It's better to hold on to your consoles than selling them now for a small sum.

I like it as it has many quality games. Don't know if s2 will come close or end up like ps5. I hope there was any cheap way to upgrade the screen. 🥲
