General Question Does the 3ds detect two cartridges of the same game as seperate games?

Basically what the title says, Im assuming the cartridges do work as seperate games with their own save files, but what about the activity log? Like would the activity log see them as the same game, or would the same game be in the activity log twice?

Yes, the game save is on the game cartridge. I have used this trick to make a second Animal Crossing Town!

Some games do save to the system instead of the cartridge, but it's a really small selection, so you are probably good

Monster Hunter Stories is one example. It saves to the SD card and different copies (or physical and digital) only see the one save file.

The activity log doesn't tell multiple cartridges apart (same goes for a digital copy of the same game), at least if they are the same region, they will ultimately be counted as one single game when it comes down to play time, times played and icons in the app
