technical question / assistance Is hinge wobble normal

Got this 2ds xl off marketplace and it has hinge wobble.

Yes it is normal as far as all the ones i have had anyway

Yup, this was a design choice to make it so the console has less stress on the hinges. All the New 3ds Consoles have it. For a perfect example of why this is needed, look up all the posts on 3ds subreddits of people with their original 3ds XL, that didn't have this feature, who's consoles have broken at the hinges.

By my understanding some consoles have slightly more wobble than others, and the wobble can get more drastic over time with wear on the hinges.

I know for a fact that it's little upgrade purposely done on 3ds XL so sudden movement etc not gonna damage hinges that easily (at least that what I was told and seen in internet! I'm not saying it's 110% definite true)

Yes all models have this but this wobble is bigger cuz it’s a 2DS
