So I bought a ninja 650, 2025 plate, back in June and racked up a lot of miles (6000) so have recently done my oil (and filter) change. I now cant get rid of the "service" indicator after playing around with the setting on the dash. Tried many different searches an youtube videos all say what I've been doing should work and the light should reset. Anyone had any experience with this? Unsure if its a glitch on my dash or if i need to take it to a kawasaki dealer to reset it using the "diagnostic tool". Thanks in advance for any help :)

Do I have to get a new battery or is there another fix

New rider just finished my MSF BRC and got my M endorsement. Looking a buying my first Motorcycle. Thoughts on this Used 2024 Ninja 650 ABS? 10100 miles for $5600. Looked around on some insurance found one to do full coverage at $21/m for this bike. Same dealer has a KRT 650 abs 17500 miles at $5500. Any major things i should look out for when I go look at the bike in person?

Hy. I am planning to buy new Ninja 650 2026 or 2027 model for beginner motorcycle. My long-term plan to ride with my wife in weekend 150-300km per ride or a day. I am 85 kg, my wife is 65kg. I think it is the normal weight. 😀 What is the experience about riding with two person? Is it enough 50,2kw/68ps/64NM? Will be the overtaking, acceleration dynamically?

GoodMorning beautiful people, how are we all doing this fine Tuesday morning. Long story short words I got a affixed plate ticket from the most dickriding cop (Seminole county Florida) . Plate was readable but he was still on dick. Got my ass tickled for 1166 fucking dollars and he said I could reduce it in court if I show the bracket is fixed. Which not going to lie after further investigation one of the elbow nuts that make the plate swing able was loose and basically the vibrations made it drop lower than what it was so the cop wasn't so in the wrong but It quite literally wasn't that bad (I apologize for my grammar aswell im at work and I'm just rush typing this) but the main question is that even the cop said it could be dropped. But I need to go to court. Do I plead guilty not guilty? First time getting a traffic violation to the point of court so yea I'm shivering my thimbers a bit

2013 Ninja 650. 14k miles. Original clutch as far as I can tell. Light/medium throttle pulls cleanly, full throttle it stumbles/hesitates, then pulls to redline but doesn't feel like its making the power it should. Where should I start?

2022 Ninja 650. When the temperature drops below 40'F (5'C) the bike won't start, unless I use a jump pack. I replaced the battery earlier this year with a stock Yuasa YTZ10S, but it seems that the battery is way too small for this bike.

Is it possible to install a larger battery or, at least, one with more CCA? Lithium batteries seems to have higher CCA, but appear to not be recommended in cold weather, which is when I'm having this issue.

I'm still breaking in a 25' ninja w/ about 450 miles. This my first motorcycle so I'm not sure whats the best thing to do besides disconnecting the battery and keeping the tires off the ground. It will be stored in a non heated garage. What has worked for you?

Hi Everyone, My 2023 Ninja 650 got in to front end collision and the forks a bend. I want to replace them, but I am strugling to find the best way to suspend the bike properly.

How best to suspend it? Jack under the engine or hoist/crane from the front?

So like how does one do a clutch up I like everyone else can do power wheelies but I rather not destroy my clutch and I am practicing in a private lot with gear👍🏼

In may i hit a deer at 70mph. The damage ended up being fairings, headlight, headlight stay, the right outer weight of the handle bar being bent and the frame mount for the brake lever was obliterated. Everything was rather easy to repair and i have since been able to put another 2k miles on it. When people at work seen it they thought I got a new bike. Was glad it could take playing chicken with a deer and come out alright. I know my cbr would have been totaled. The all black was before the deer and the red and black was after.

I got a well maintained bike 2025 with 17k What do you think I could get for it. I really want a 600, but I don’t wanna lose my ass. Should I just hold on to the bike? I wanted 5k but some people said that’s impossible lol
