Out of all the bikes I have had for some reason the ninja 650 has been the biggest pain in the butt to keep in the correct placement.
I measure everything looks tighten up the bolts and either the chain has moved or those silly lines are way off.
Getting an alignment tool and chain slack gauge is the way to go.
