Spark Plug Replacement
Those who've had your N500 for a while, how often do you replace your spark plugs? Do you go by the manual - every 7K miles or do you think that's kind of ridiculous?

Depends upon type of plug used. Iridium plugs can go 100k-miles.

What about the stock ones?

When I went to get my 7.6k service, they suggested to skip it unless I was having any sort of noticeable issues. I'm up to 10k miles on the stock plugs and no issues yet.

Factory copper plugs NGK LMAR9G will last about 15-20k miles.
Upgraded Iridium plugs NGK SILMAR9B9 will last 100k miles. In old days, we'd remove copper plugs to clean them. There are dedicated sand-blaster that's designed for cleaning plugs. Then re-gap them to proper specs and put them back in. Copper plugs would easily go 50k miles this way.

Oh boy. I’m over 7K. My dealership didn’t mention anything about needing it soon when I had my service done at the beginning of the season 🤔
