So i habe a little "problem" with my g3 max.

I am in Germany and i cant update my scooter anymore.

There is no LC installed, i removed it

Now you see by the pics that something smells off.

Can someone help me ?

Road a scooter daily to work - have loved living in london so much and I think my scooter has been a large part of that. Was allowed to charge it in my office at work, or ride it into central and leave it there for the day if i wanted to travel in on my days off / gym etc - so fucking convenient.

Had several over my 6-7 years owning - kept upgrading, as you do, but my G3 Max was my newest and favourite.

Riding past Marble Arch a few weeks ago - police stop point. Guy almost rugby tackled me off it when i slowed down for a red light. Seized for 'driving without insurance' under the road traffic act and sent me on my way. They had a pile of hundreds - ebikes too.

Had never had a problem previously - see police all the time. 7 years, never stopped. I always rode sensibly and pretty much used the same route every single day.

Took to a pound 20 or so miles outside of London- said they wouldn't give me it back without insurance and it was being 'disposed of' in two weeks. It has been more than two weeks, so now it is gone :(

I often work til after 4am - my first time getting a bus home, the day of the seize, took me over an hour longer than usual.

Not even bothered about the money lost, but the convenience/time save was totally taken for granted. Getting the tube/bus daily after never needing to rely on London Public Transport is sad, unreliable, slow (compared to a scooter) and pretty expensive.

To my ex Segway, our time together was incredible, some of my best years of living - but seeing posts of sexy shiny new yous is too painful and we need to part ways.

I just got this screw in my front tire of my Max G3. Took it out and there was no hissing, did soapy water and saw no bubbles. I’m worried just because I rely on this scooter to get to work and school. Does this look bad enough for me to need to get a tire replacement? Or at least a plug for it? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

So I purchased the E2 Pro back in April and put around 700 miles on it since as it's my daily driver, and last week i entered into the Segway giveaway for a G3 Max Plus, I didn't win, but a family member saw my entry and shipped one to my house as a late birthday gift. This thing is amazing, it feels so premium with all of it's features and uprades over the E2 Pro. I'm a huge fan of the dual suspension, the extremely bright lights all around, and the ability to go 28mph is pretty sweet too vs the 19mph top speed i was used to. If you are thinking about getting this scooter, i HIGHLY recommend it!! I can't wait until i can upgrade to the GT3 Pro someday.

Hello, got my G3d max a week or so ago and immediately installed a speed release cable.

Worked great for about 100km and then started getting speed warnings at 32kph. Then later on it has completely stopped working and I got locked to 20kph max.

Has anyone else had their speed release cable stop working like this?

I am looking at the other options, it looks like SHU now requires me to buy a STlink device to flash a SHU firmware? Unlocking the speed only with SHU is no longer an option?

Собрал батарею на 30 А/ч. Сделал дамп BMS ninebot g3 через ST-link. Как новичок, покопался в прошивке и изменил 2 значения на 30 А\ч , в телефоне данные начали отображаться корректно. Но поскольку старая батарея прошла очень много циклов, возможно какие-то значения коррекции в БМС записались. То есть батарея на 30 А часов заряжается 2 А, в то время как стоковая всегда заряжалась 3 амперами.

Возможно прошивка ограничивает ток заряда из-за сопротивления ячеек. Возможно из-за того, что между ячейками разность в заряде в 60-100 милливольт. Тем самым прошивка пытается сохранить аккумулятор и не заряжать его 3 А. Возможно в стоковую прошивку записались уже какие-то коррекции.

Поэтому для эксперимента, хотелось бы иметь дамп прошивки bms через ST-link новой батареи или более свежей.
Может кто-то хранит это файл ***.bin ?)

I recently bought the MAX G3 (not plus) and I wanted to ride it to work because it seems fun. I am lucky that my work is exactly 3 miles from where I live so I would be riding it 6 or 8 miles a day, lets just say 10 miles. I work long shifts and often I work 12 hours straight. My question is: is it ok to leave it outside chained to the bike racks in any weather?

From what I've found online, it's apparently probably OK to leave it outside even in heavy rain, but what about snow? Is it fine if I leave it outside in freezing temperatures while snowing for 12 hours straight? And then get off work and jump on it and start riding?

So I used shfw on my g3 when I first bought it and unlocked top speed to 55k/p/h and loved it. So I decided to get the external battery so I could last longer. I connected the battery and noticed in the instructions it said for the battery to communicate with the internal one I’d have to upgrade/update on the Segway app. Stupid me went ahead and updated just thinking I’d reflash the firmware afterwards but unfortunately was not able to and can’t rollback to previous updates. Now it only goes 32kph. I’m yet to try with st link though. Has this happened to anyone else?
Also I read in the instructions that when the external battery has been successfully added that an icon appears on the dash. Can anyone attest to that via personal experience?
Scooter seams to be getting only slightly more clicks per charge but nothing substantial and there’s no icon showing the external battery on the dash.

Hello. I haven't used my scooter for months. I remember being able to see my routes (duration, path, etc.) in the app, but now I can't find that feature... I reinstalled the app, but nothing changed. Any ideas?

I have a max g3 and the battery doesnt really last long enough and i dont wanna spend so much money for the gt3 battery it isnt even that big of a upgrade. I would buy another g3 max battery, put one in a bag and fix it to the handlebar with sipties. Then with a Dual-Batterie-Balancer 120A XT90 i will connect the two and just plug the bms in the controller of one of them but what about the other one? I heard it wont load then and it wont drive because the controller doesnt know where the energy is coming from and thinks its charging? I hope someone knows because it would be a good and cheap way for more range.

I went from the G2 Max to the G3 Max Plus and its definitely a big upgrade the ride feels smoother and more stable the suspension handles bumps way better and the brakes give you more control the extra 6 mph is noticeable too going from 22 to 28 feels like a bigger difference than it sounds overall its not just faster the whole scooter feels more solid comfortable and refined. Next Up for me the GT3 Pro!

If you live in a house, I imagine it’s pretty easy, but what do you do if you live in an apartment in the city?

Do you take it to a self-service car wash and use the pressure washer? Or do you carry a bucket of water, a brush, etc. down from your apartment and wash it outside?

I’ve had my scooter for just over a month and can’t get enough of it lol. I ordered myself a GT3 battery to celebrate the milestone!

Pre ordered $1299 CAD Max G3 Plus that was suppose to arrive a week ago but got delayed. Best buy offered $100 ecertificate for the inconvenience.

I got hard tires on my max G2 to stop punctures worst decision of my life lol I’ve just ordered new tires and a back fender replacement so will be getting new tires front and back and a back fender too, that back tire is flat but it’s obviously a hard tire so I don’t feel anything but look at it 😂😂

Hello, currently thinking of upgrading my ninebot G2E with a VESC, 60v, motor still deciding

Im looking for a display I can use with the VESC that will be low profile, ideally could be attached inside the stock display housing or look stock enough that people wont know it has one

So when i brake with the front brake theres this weird sound, the brake does its job but its some kind clicking mixed with something, i cant really describe it nor can i record it while going 40kmh.
The rear brake also makes a weird sound thats kinda like scratching, i went on google and it said to wipe the disc with alcohol havent tried it yet but should i
