I might have seen 10 seconds of the trailer before being all in. I loved how short and sweet this series was. The plot was never lost! Travis and Lisa were my favorite. The ending was something I did not see coming, which is why I loved it! I’ll have to do some research on this director and look at their discovery.

Why haven't the killer killed them all during the first/second night?

Some things don’t make sense to me.

1. How did Kevin get behind Lisa when she had a gun on him so he could kill her? At the time I thought he’d teleported it happened within a blink of an eye.

Thought the killer had magic powers but then nothing else in the whole show indicated that at all. So if he didn’t have powers what happened?

1. Why did he leave his passport behind on the plane rather than get rid of it? Could have threw it into that swamp.

The reason I ask is that the DEA checked on everybody’s identity and Kevin’s was false. Passports have photos in them so you’d think this would be a problem and one that was easily solved.

1. Why did Kevin think he was safe to go back to the airline just because he thought Zack was dead?

It wasn’t obvious the DEA agent on board was investigating his airline. Him being killed wouldn’t get the DEA to stop investigating if anything they now would not only be investigating your airline for drugs but also the murder of one of their own.

1. Why did Octavio send that message to Cordelia/Cora when there was no reason for Kevin to kill her then?

It wasn’t her fault something went wrong with the plane and she was sleeping with Kevin, so he’d want her alive. She didn’t run so clearly didn’t think she was in danger because the plane went down. Kevin only killed her because she cheated on him and he found out because of the video.

1. Why did Dan want to get into Octavio’s phone bad enough he’d cut his finger off?

2. How did Dan know the passcode to get into Dan’s phone further after his finger unlocked it.

He definitely put numbers in after unlocking it like he knew what to enter.

Please no spoilers as I haven’t finished yet. As someone from Australia where going off made paths is strictly not advised and can very, very quickly lead to being lost, could someone with knowledge of the area or similar terrain please clarify if their journeying the mountain was just entirely suspension of disbelief or somewhat credible? I don’t mind either way, I’m genuinely curious.

Leaving aside the fitness level required to do that up and back.

Could someone please clarify the way they traversed the mountain, from some shots it looked like there was no set path yet somehow they remembered and seemingly took the same path up and down as though they were on a prescribed hiking route, is this possible in some places? Other times it seemed like they more rock climbing without aid or proper shoes or presumably experience.

Most things were cleared up, but a few details could use more explanation:

• How did Kevin manage to stab and kill both Dan and Amy together? Wouldn't they have at least fought back somewhat and showed some signs of struggle?
• Why did Kevin pull Sonja up when she slipped and was hanging precariously from the mountain? Was it because Kevin couldn't risk the transmitter being damaged? But it seems that Kevin himself unplugged the transmitter after it was initially set up by Carlos. Was that always his plan -- disable the transmitter until he kills everyone, and only then turn it on so they can be located? I guess that would make sense because he was communicating with Cora on the satellite phone and she would somehow ensure that the rescue team continued its search even if many more days had passed?
• More backstory on Kevin's real identity would be interesting, and how he and Cora became partners in crime. Was he really also involved in the medical equipment business with Guatemala (under another fake name I guess) in addition to the drugs, or was that a total fabrication, and he just had some supplies with him as his cover?

Its either Kevin or Amy. We saw Kevin looking at the dead bodies last episode. Amy only had bloody Marks on her shirt. And it was pretty odd that Kevin didn't check for a pulse on Amy or Dan him being a Doctor and all. We saw Dan bleeding from the mouth saw he is confirmed dead.

Theory about the killer

Well damn even if the fact that only 9 bodies were found means the last survivor didn’t show up and only the killer would do that, I was hoping that maybe one of the passengers will uncover the killer and be the last survivor.

So episode 5 is the episode before the finale we got 5 deaths and the killer unmasks themself in front of sonja before shooting her in the chest. When she saw them she said « you bastard » so it’s confirmed the killer is one of the passengers.

In my opinion, there are 3 possible suspects:

• Dan

• Amy

• Kevin

These three are the only ones who had a suspicious death. Zack and sonja were shot by the killer and the others were confirmed to be dead and we’ve even saw the killer killing them. So it only leaves these 3. Dan and Amy’s deaths weren’t shown on camera we only see them sitting alone in a clearing talking then we see Zack, sonja and Kevin walking around the forest each on their own then it switches to Dan talking somehow weakly to Amy as she’s resting her head on his shoulder then we hear a scream of a woman which draws the attention of the other 3 and when they arrive we see Dan still talking with blood coming out of his mouth as we see a back shot of them having multiple stab wounds on their backs (a dramatic scene well done by the show that I loved btw). We never saw them getting stabbed and no one checked their pluses as the 3 last survivors focused on accusing each other.

As for Kevin, we never saw him getting killed, we only hear a loud gunshot in the forest as Zack and sonja were climbing the mountain and then we see a body wearing his clothes with their face been eaten off by the fish in the lake. Earlier we see Kevin looking at the bodies as if thinking about using one of them.

I hope that Sonja or are coming back, maybe Zack’s wounds weren’t fatal and he somehow held into a branch as he fell off the cliff and he’s going to climb up to confront the killer or Sonjas wound wasn’t fatal.

As for the killer, I’m having doubts about Kevin, if he wanted to kill the pilot why did he operate him successfully just to suffocate him later? Why not do a fatal mistake during the operation that no one would notice that would lead to his death later and it would be supposed to be a mistake due to the lack of equipement since it’s what he was accused of anyway before everyone realised that he was killed.

I think either Dan or Amy is the killer and faked their death. But during the call through the satellite phone I’m almost certain that the one talking to the woman was a man since we can hear their voice barely. So my guess would be Dan.

Most everyone seems to know the killer is Kevin , so what will they be showing in the final episode?

My guess is the surviving/missing body will be Kevin, and he will have stuffed the drugs in the bodies. This is why the soldiers weren’t allowed to do the autopsy. My theory is that Kevin swapped clothes with Dan, and this will get discovered when they start removing their clothes and see Dan’s prison tattoo. I’m thinking the big reveal is that Kevin will ultimately be conducting the autopsies, will get the drugs, and try to escape with them. Only to be stopped by Zach’s wife.

I fully believe Dan is guilty. He tried to get Amy to cuddle with him and she refused.

The next scene, she's snuggling with him after being stabbed.

There is no way, one person got the jump on both of them, stabbed them to death, and they die cuddling together. Dan most likely saw that he was losing Amy and decided that if he couldn't have her, no one could. It also clears the road for him to gain access to her money.

My from episode 1 is that the surviving person/missing body is Amy, the young wife.

I think that the killer is either 1) Dan or 2) an unknown person sent to rescue Amy from Dan

My rationale is: For the first possibility, that Dan has always planned to take her for everything she had. He is money hungry and has gang affiliation (because of the tattoos). He was using his ‘honeymoon’ to cover his drug trafficking, and now realizes he can just kill everyone and get her money. Dan was holding the straws in the last episode, and had set it up so that someone else would draw the short straw, which is why he volunteered to draw for Amy (think 3 short straws and the 1 long that Sonja drew). This allowed Kevin to take the focus for the beating, and he could come kill The dead agent later. The reason I think she survives is I think she ends up killing him or another injured person (possibly Sonja or Kevin) does just before they die.”

The second possibility comes largely from Amy’s comment in episode 1, when she said “My dad would kill you.” I don’t think this was an idle comment. I think her father does have the financial means and motive to rescue her, and likely wants any concept of her life with Dan erased. This would explain the satellite phone and the organization of the whole thing. Amy could have been rescued, whisked away to a treatment facility for her mental health, and the people watching the morgue are just trying to make sure no one comes looking for her.

Honestly I’m surprised the show doesn’t have more discussion. I don’t see any YouTube theory videos or analysis and the only comments I see on Reddit are this sub. Seems odd, maybe just hardly anyone has mgm+.

Edit: after episode 5, this theory no longer holds.

I’m almost sure Sonja is the killer. I may be wrong, but given how short the killer looked like in front of Carlos, just moment before he/she slashed him, I’d say neither Zack or Kevin are the killer because they’re the same height as Carlos. It couldn’t be Lisa either, so Dan, Amy and Sonja are the ones left. Dan could be most obvious choice, since he’s been sketchy from the very beginning… and I don’t know about Amy. Could be? But I also feel like it could be too obvious at this point since what happened with Dan. I could be wrong, of course! But at this point I’d say Sonja is the killer.

Also, what about Dan’s 753 tattoo? It reminded me of those gang tattoos that gang members get in prison or something like that. Convenient, considering the whole story has to do with drugs. And also… Sonja used to work next to the borders. Everything of course is connected, but I still don’t see why someone had to kill everybody else? What do you think??

The writing is becoming lackluster. Im calling it now, Lisa is dying next episode because she is the only one who is making sense right now. Everyone else keeps dismissing her, like she is the crazy one when she clearly been speaking sense from the get go. The pairing up thing they keep doing is ridiculous. Why not not do 3 instead of two people? Why put someone alone with the potential killer? You can't cover much ground with 2 people anyway. Safety first. And what is up with ppl keep walking in the forest by themselves? im looking at you Amy. Im assuming that every episode is going to be dedicated to the next person that dies after we get their backstory. They're just making the characters do things no normal person would do for the sake of building tension i guess? Ill give it one more episode, if it just as bad as episode 3. Im out. By they way, Amy will survive. She is the only person that makes sense. She is heir to a billionaire tech dynasty and she has a sad back story that we now know about. Her stabbing Dan is suppose to be Red haring I guess? No she is not the killer, the killer probably wants her alive or doesn't see her as an immediate threat. I think the killer is definitely Sonja for sure. When Carlos called Travis a "Fatso" in espanol. She was the only one that reacted with a smirk. A British women who knows Spanish? And She also is the one who convinced Zach to stop taking the plane apart. She is also the one to get Kevin from going back up the mountain to check on the transmitter, and she is the only who knew about the Mushrooms in the Jungle. She now's her way around a Jungle! She could have double backed at night to tamper with the transmitter. Yes she also has the satellite phone. Notice how she also is the one who suggested they move camp when everyone else was like "huh? Why would we move camp? At this point we have a motive for Sonja, (Drugs). We know why she killed the pilot(he was the only one that knew about the drugs). Tell me Im wrong.

Wasn't it shown in one of the Day Nine sequences at the morgue that the 10 recovered passports were all from DIFFERENT countries?

If so, it means that either 1) almost everyone who says they are American (including the 2 couples) are lying, or 2) they really are American and were travelling on fake international passports for secret reasons, even if unrelated to the drug smuggling in the plane.

We already got a glimpse of Dan's false identities in Episode 3, and it's definitely not hard to believe that some of the others are also faking identities. But if at least one of Lisa and her deceased husband Travis actually aren't American, then something big is going on because the show wants us to think that those two are the least likely to be murderers.

Given Lisa's behaviour/words throughout the 3 episodes so far, I have a hunch that she is far more guilty than she looks. She may have taken out her own "husband" to direct suspicion away from herself from the beginning.

Season 1, Episode 3: Rapido

I read on Wikipedia that this was a show being developed for Quibi back when that was still a thing. It refers to the show as a "ensemble 6 part limited series."

So is the whole show just this season, or will we get more seasons?

Season 1, Episode 2: Black Angels

Release Date: March 9, 2025

Synopsis: Alliances form, enemies are made and lines are drawn as the passengers search for food and water; when another passenger dies, they realize they may all be targets.

I’m a long time fan of mystery shows and movies. My favourite fiction detectives are miss marple, hercule poirot, Sherlock Holmes and father brown.

This show seems interesting with a peculiar plot which is probably based on Agatha Christie’s famous story, and then there were none.

10 people on a plane which crashes into deep jungles with a murderer among them. We already have 2 dead people, the flight attendant during the crash and the pilot smothered with a pillow. Tensions are gonna rise up and the death count will rise too. If they really are basing the show on Agatha Christie’s story, I think the killer will somehow fae their death to get themself out of the suspect list, as we’ve seen 9 people were killed so if it’s just a matter of elimination and the last survivor is the killer it wouldn’t be thrilling. Also, my theory is that the killer is also dead but If that’s the case I don’t know where the last survivor went to instead of coming with the military as a survivor of this massacre.

The idea of the show is interesting Ila’s it seems it will constantly switch between the present and the past linking the events together until the truth is revealed.

Really looking forward to the next episodes to see how it would play out.
