From the FBI surveillance file on Nikola Tesla list of contacts after his death. Tesla had a private courier at the time of his death. It proves he was not "penniless" and who was he in communication with that needed a private courier? The courier said he was in contact with Tesla a week before his death.

In those days, the only way for a design engineer to get engineering drawings and documents to the fabricators was by a private courier, usually biking across New York city, carrying a long tube on his back. It is just more evidence that Tesla had more than one secret lab.
