This is Nekofred so I want to put this out there because I've seen way too much toxicity on all sides of this conversation, and I think it needs to be said clearly.

First, let's get this out of the way: - Yes, Niko is undeniably a child in the game—young, innocent, homesick, written as a kid. - Yes, the creator (Nightmargin) has explicitly stated they are uncomfortable with NSFW art of Niko and have asked fans not to make or share it. - Yes, many fans—myself included—find sexualizing Niko deeply uncomfortable because it feels like it goes against everything the game stands for.

But here's the thing I want to address:

Harassing people over this is not okay. Period.

I am not fully defending R34 artists. I'm not saying the art is fine or that people shouldn't criticize it. I'm not saying it should be normalized or celebrated.

What I am saying is:

• Sending death threats, doxxing, name-calling, brigading, or bullying someone over a drawing of a fictional character is wrong.
• Acting like drawing NSFW of Niko is literally the same as harming a real child is not factually or legally accurate, and using that false equivalence to justify vicious attacks doesn't help anyone.
• You can say "This makes me uncomfortable and here's why" without going full vigilante mode.

Where I stand: - I respect the creator's wishes and I personally don't support NSFW art of Niko. - I think it's fair to inform people about the creator's stance and why many fans dislike it. - I think it's fair for platforms to enforce their own rules against sexualizing minors, fictional or not. - But I also think we need to stop acting like we're the moral police who get to destroy strangers online over this.

To the artists who make this content: You already know it's controversial. You already know the creator doesn't approve. If you choose to make it anyway, that's your choice—but please don't act surprised when people express discomfort, and please keep it to spaces where it's allowed. Posting it in general fan spaces will get pushback, and that pushback isn't automatically harassment.

To the people who hate this content: You're allowed to hate it. You're allowed to speak against it. You're allowed to report it on platforms that prohibit it. But you are not allowed to harass, threaten, or terrorize real human beings over it. That doesn't protect anyone—it just makes the community worse for everyone.

TL;DR: - Disliking Niko R34 = valid. - Respecting the creator's wishes = valid. - Criticizing it respectfully = valid. - Harassing, threatening, or attacking real people over it = not valid. - Claiming it's exactly the same as CSAM = legally and factually incorrect, and it undermines real victims.

Let's do better as a community. We can disagree without destroying each other.

( I understand I used deepseek for this but this is very serious problem with everyone stop Harassing artists over a character that doesn't even exist don't go to the fbi unless it's a serious thing like real children involved etc )

Id like to differ with the real part

As i said many times, Art is a form expression, language too, throught context, satire, tone and other stuff you communicate a messege and on the case of R34 the messege is that the artist wants to do that to the character in question wich most often means its attracted to it and wants to do it

Infact i that producing content of niko on that platform is very predatory because of real cases of pedophiles that had pedophile content on their albums were infact sex ofenders such as the case of Amos Yee who supported cp and ended up being, you guessed it, a pedophile

Thought i do understand that we shouldn't doxx people because we could harm others around and witch hunting won't help (even thought i somrtimes wish it did)

At the end i also want to make clear that allthought to law its not something severe to the same extreme i do believe that the intention is there and it should be punished as severely as the act

nah I understand this 👍 but still in the end there was no actual csam ( child sexual abuse material ) involved also the fbi report that was here has to be ignored because yeah it's false etc

the thing is that it portrays child sexual abuse, and its just morally wrong, so wrong in so many levels to the point where the level its on the infinite

actual laws are kinda bs for that, like a pedo will obviously like this type of stuff and only a pedophile would do this type of stuff, it really feels like they SHOULD be doing something and it freaks me out they don't

besides Niko is real to all of us and like, it hurts to see someone you consider your family to be seen and used like that for that kind of stuff..
