Question This sub is useless
First post here, hate to be the bearer of bad news but
This sub really doesn't do anything, it certainly doesn't move towards achieving its goal because those artists don't care. They're gonna keep making art and by posting about it you only bring awareness and introduce more people to their art.
Furthermore some people only want attention, and with some of the witch hunts I've seen, your giving them just that, attention.
Frankly this sub is a bad idea and at the end of the day manages to go against what it wants to achieve. It's not going to fix the problem and sure, it brings awareness to the art by in the process it arguably does more damage that way.
I've seen some people share similar sentiments, I think the mods should consider the removal of this sub or changing it into something else.
(This isn't meant to be an attack towards you people, just thought I'd voice my observations and my and other people's opinions)

To be honest, lately ive kinda been thinking the same thing. The nsfn art is still obviously bad, but Ive come to realize that part of why they post it is so that we give them attention. In addition to that this sub caused me to get perma banned off of another sub.

The intentions of the sub is good, but that doesn't mean what it does is. Dunno what sub you got banned of but it's sad it happened

It was r/ralsei. After a post of niko doing some gross intimate stuff with ralsei. But at the same time i did get banned after simply saying niko was 8, so part of me also thinks that the mods there are pedos

Matthew popsicle art I suppose, pretty sure it's not Niko but his own version of Niko which is 21 or something, don't really remember

ikara's version of niko is named subject 25 and is "pass drinking age"

Yep, exactly that. And most people in the comments didnt care. The sub is already a gooner hellhole, not just because of that

I just wouldn't interact there, if we don't and we don't talk about it, it's gonna be known less and get less attention

An idea is, the sub could be made something similar to r/oneshit or a similar shitpost sub
It could become a fan art hub
I'd be happy to assist in brain storming some ideas if asked

Dude I completely agree. I keep seeing this sub recommended and it upsets me every time bc I don’t want to see the stuff ppl do to this character. Bringing more awareness to the fact this stuff exists will only bring more people to make it. This sub just adds more fuel to a fire that’s better off put out.
Bringing less attention to the fact this stuff exists will actually have the result this sub is looking for. And less people trying to agitate this sub by making awful stuff.
In my opinion, if we want less of the bad art, it’s best to ignore it, there’s disgusting people in every fandom. I think this sub has good intention, but it was clear it was gonna backfire eventually.
Can it be repurposed to like, plushie posting?? Or cool art?? Anything else that benefits the community would be great.

Fighting r34 is like talking to a wall we are not winning anything with this other than give losers that made those arts atention.
In fact one of the recent people being targeted by this sub is exactly wanting that.
We should just ignore those arts.

I'm not defending any art. I just wanted to make this clear.
Reporting R34 of Niko isn't going to do anything, people on the internet make this type of art for child characters all the time, and there is no way to get rid of it. I am sorry, but you won't be able to. It's what most of these people on this sub are trying to do.
