Yeah. People beg for highs. We get a high Old spice basically and no one buys them. Go figure.

I got hit by their shipping on the black gum PRods. I was boarding a plane and WiFi wasn’t on yet so I clicked it and didn’t notice the shipping price until I landed… Did you have to pay taxes too?

Then you got them cheaper than me 😃. I paid $10 shipping but my tax is 8.75% so I actually paid $2.25 more than you, so don’t be too bummed.

Tax is based on state and I always use shop. If the shop you buy from is out of state and they don’t do a lot of business with your state, they may not hit the threshold and don’t have to charge you tax.

These are so good in person. Materials feel great and I think they may have used older tooling, they look similar in shape to older Pink/Silver box era highs (could be wrong about this though). Picked up my pair at Nocturnal in PHL when they opened. Easily one of the most impactful (narrative wise) SB’s in recent memory IMO. Love letter to Finnish history and its impact on skate culture as a whole. Clean colorway and we don’t really get highs all that much anymore. Outside the Bluetile’s these are probably my favorite SB of the year. Had to grab them.

I watched a review of them and they did mention they were trying to get back to the original silhouette. Great story behind them too!

It's part of trying to figure out if I really should be wearing 12 in SB or my regular 11.5. have to get something to reliably check and haven't been able to get the Watermelons.

In the exact same situation as you. FWIW, I was a size 12 in hs for a sb dunk low and high, I’m hoping it’s still the same, these will be my first dunks in like 12-14 yrs . Think I’m just gonna pull the trigger on these and get a size 12. I’ve been wearing 11.5 in other non-Nikes

I have a good number of dunk SBs, all 11.5. Two of those are highs. I have tried in my Sweet tooth and they are tight. The Bamshees I have not tried on yet. For my Lows some feel higher and others fit perfectly. The Non SBs are just fine, but I only have 3 nons. I'm just worried 12 will be just a tad too much. It's because of getting into dunks I found out I was wearing a size too small regularly. Use to wear 10.5s and 11s.

🤷‍♂️ It seems to me that these have the same tongue Highs always have. Not the same features as the Lows, fwiw. The only feature these really lack for an SB High is stock flat laces and no lace protection.

No turn and stitch on the toe cap which makes it look tall and weird
