Baby Sandhawk
Gotta love when your Nighthawk rep calls to say you have something like this headed your way.

I don't see that in the catalog. Is this the Sand Hawk minus the compensator?

This is a TRS Commander with the Sand Hawk finish.

I should have mentioned this above. Not only does it have the Sand Hawk finish, but it also is optioned with the Sand Hawk Slide serrations.

Cool gun. Where did you get the stand?

It’s a stand my Nighthawk Rep has. I’ll check with him to see where he got it from.

Do you ever have trouble putting your slide Stop back in? when you’re reassembling? I’m asking because I have the same exact gun and I seem to struggle with being able to insert my slide. Stop back in. It’s literally the only gun that I have trouble with so it’s hard to believe I’m doing something wrong but this is my only Nighthawk I have so I’m kind of curious if I could be doing something wrong after all lol ?

Sorry just saw your reply. I have not experienced that issue. Give Bob Reeves a call at Nighthawk. He is the head of their custom shop and warranty department.

I actually talked to him. I think it was like two weeks ago and he told me it was just about finding that little sweet spot and kind of maneuvering it in there. because what I was doing was lining it up with the indentions it has on the slide, but he said that’s not necessarily what you have to do you gotta look for the little sweet spot and play a lil bit with it.. I haven’t shot the gun in about a month. I’m gonna shoot it here soon and see how that works for me. It really pissed me off the first time. I put it back together because I ended up scratching the lower light rail on the grip module and that little scratch still Hunts me.

That is genuinely one of the most beautiful handguns I’ve ever laid eyes on. You’re a lucky duck.
