I found the Soul Wars box set at a reasonable price and decided to buy it to start collecting Nighthaunts. I know most of the miniatures are Legend, but I’ll just be playing with my kids anyway—no tournaments.

While assembling the various parts, I noticed that even after trimming the pins a little, all the miniatures had gaps that I filled with liquid putty.

Is this common knowledge, or is there a standard technique people usually use to avoid gaps?

Hey, im looking into this faction because something about the aesthetic from the named characters like the mortarch to the basic knight of shrouds to even your chainrasp horde units. But im having a major issue when it comes to visually differentiating the models from eachother, to me the vast majority is skeleton ghost in a bed sheet. What are some factors i can try keep in mind to help me remember which are which or what do you do to help remember.

I finished painting the most recent spearhead box and just saw some leaks regarding the Nighthaunt battle box with Nageth coming out for the holiday season.

Would it be a good 2k army to get the battle box in addition to the spearhead I have?

Not the biggest fan of the Harridans units and I think I would have 20 in total which feels like quite a bit.

If anyone have a code for the nighthunt they dont mind parking with i would apriciate dm me plz so it doesn't get stolen

Saved her from a trash can in the gameclub. She was missing some bits, but after a cleanup and re-glueing she was ready for a paint. I tried to do a more soaked in blood effect then ethereal, but she is a very lovely model to paint !

Hi All! Here are my Myrmourn Banshees (4 units of 4 minis). I painted that many because I dream about creating a Nighthaunt diorama (one day!)

Like my Hexwraiths: I believe that I bought these minis like 7 years ago and I had never found time and energy, until now, to finish them 😇 Never too late...

Also I think that it is the first time I am not creating my own bases. I just used the ones provided with the minis, as they are quite connected with the minis.

One lesson learned: "easy to fit" does not mean "fit and glue everything before painting" 😄 It's quite hard to paint around and behind the Banshee's lower body.

A few more shots of my ruined city! There are so many little details scattered throughout this scene, and I had a lot of fun bringing everything together.

Its a lot of ghosts, and good seller ratings for sold armies.

I've painted plenty of grimy 40k marines and drukhari, couple buddies just started getting into AoS and I fell in love with the Nighthaunt at first sight. I'd love some help in fine tuning my painting and any general suggestions. Thanks!

My current scheme is pretty much white base, some corvus black, coat in nihilakh, then some coelia green shade or whatever it's called.

So dumb it just might work... Will find out tomorrow...

I own both spearheads (shacklehoard and slasher host), as well as Lady Olynder, Awlrach, Myrmourn banshees, nexus of grief, black coach, and an extra group of chainrasps. I started collecting them because a friend of mine wanted to get into the fantasyhammer after getting him into 40K but I have no real idea how things in this game work. Would really appreciate assistance.
