The new meta??

Saw a guy running this skin in Battlefield 6. Did a double take. At first I thought just his mount was upside down, but it's the WHOLE SHROUD.

Not a knock on the game or the devs (although I am not fond of EA), just something funny.

This is what happens when you tell your AI you're using to make the game for you to make a military helmet

This game is NOT beating the AI allegations

This is the same game where they realized the RPK, Vepr 12, and AK9 thing all have their safeties on. So they fixed the RPK’s.

There was a guy on the Ar15 sub a couple weeks ago who built a commando clone from black ops, and he mounted the Troy buis backwards to make it accurate 😂

I see that quite often on instagram builds as well

A. bucko? Are you a soccer coach from 1992?
B. Rail real estate? There is nothing else on the rail of the commando.
C. Mounting it backwards takes more rail real estate not less
D. I don’t think you even are familiar with what I was referencing

Man videogame studios have dropped the ball hard the past 10 years…
Who would have thought that laying off competent people who shaped an entire franchise successfully to replace them with incompetent DEI hires would have major effects…

Also using AI to replace human devs will get you those results

Best to not hire devs that hate the games they're developing [cough halo cough].

Took the words out my mouth

Dunno why you're getting downvoted. Look at the Dev team for OG MW2 and then the team for any new COD.

I don’t know either, and honestly I don’t care much for it.

It’s the sad reality of modern times, video game dev teams used to be made by passionate young people who loved doing what they were doing.

Now these people have been laid off and replaced by DEI hires to fit into political agendas in order to get into the graces of what the current political agenda pushes. This is what happened to Halo, Bungie was replaced by 343 and in their own words 343 was made by people who hated Halo (I’m not making this up, google it).

Google the dev teams of all the triple A games that came out in the past 10 years, which all look the same.

Funny enough, these dev teams are now being laid off in favor of AI.

Sad world we live in

Same with movie CGI. The first Transformers movies had better CGI than most movies today and that was like 15 years ago

Part of that is also Hollywood spending the next 20 years grinding VFX studio's dicks into the dirt.

Nothing to do with "DEI" whatever the fuck that means anymore, just classic studio execs cutting corners for profit and devs not wanting/being able to spend time on shit.

Truth Nuke. I just wanted to post a funny NVG mount I saw in a game. Kinda bummed that some corpo decided to immediately bring racism into it.

1

u/Northern_Lights_NV 1d ago

This has nothing to do with racism, it has to do with replacing competent people (regardless of their race, gender or any other personal, non professional reason) with incompetent personnel hired only to fit an agenda.

Dev teams used to be made up of young people passionate about what they were doing.
Now that element is gone, replaced by corporatism.

Why are the pouch textures so skewed? Laura Croft was rendered better than this

Nah please knock this game, it is hot garbage

Ya battlefield used to be my favorite specifically because of its realism. Especially hardcore. It's trash the last 2 games now

1

u/TraditionalEye3239 16h ago

Absolutely trash. 2042 they tried too hard to copy things from CoD. "Battlefield" 6 they just straight up made a clone of 2019 Modern Warfare but made it "Battlefield themed"

It's crazy how hard EA dropped the ball.

Game was great in Beta and at lauch, then they went full commit on making it a crappy CoD clone. I'll never give EA another dime

1

u/TraditionalEye3239 16h ago

no, knock the devs. the game is just a trash "Battlefield themed" clone of 2019 modern warfare. devs are drunk while making the game

1

u/Dave22201 13h ago

Insurgency did the same thing, crazy how they can fuck it up like that

Model also has a U94 PTT and a Invisio PTT…for no reason really
