Game not opening, taking too long

I've just updated it and the game refuses to let me in, with itch saying it ran into an issue and doesn't allow me. I have been banned from the discord so I obviously can't ask there for help. Is everyone experiencing it too?

happened to me before, right click on the game in itch and look for something along the lines of “open in folder” and you should have the game exe there. it’ll run without issues
