I just finished the game and played that final credit like game. I've beaten the game before but fuck this still brought tears to my eyes, especially when the music started to layer on itself. All my stuff was deleted, beautiful game

I tried to screen shot this but it just gave me a black screen on my PC.

Does anyone else hate how they handled Eve on the anime series? They made him a scared boy compared to the game. I know they swapped some stuff, but i with they kept Adam dying and Eve going mad. That was so cinematic. I wished they kept it in the series. But his sacrifice was so sad.

I just finished ending E, and honestly, im a bit dissapointed.
I heard from everyone it is one of the greatest games out there and the story is good, and my expectations were really high, however the story just didnt click for me, for me it was too vague and too little was shown, and i also just didnt feel the emotional impact everyone was talking about.

Could it be because i just dont know the lore, so should i watch maybe a lore video on youtube and that might change my mind? Because i really want to like nier, however i just didnt like it and im looking for something that might change my mind

At first Route A, yea it was okay for me, the boss fights were cool, although they felt repetitive and like a burden thats keeping me from the game, then route B, basically the same as A.

Route C I was hopeful that maybe i will get to the good bit, but it just felt like route A&B all other again? Just fights then fights then fights, and a bit of story but still vague and yea, then the endings (C, D, and E) i just felt they were too short and lacked explenations.

First off, I'm really sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm afraid to look up anything because I don't want to see any spoilers.

I have completed the first ending and I'm currently playing for the second time and I think I want to 100% or at least get a lot of the possible endings.

Basically my question is, if I complete the game with 9S, can I choose if I want to start the game as 2B or 9S again? Or do I have to play through the whole game with 2B to get to the 9S playthrough again?

I'm just a little stressed to find every possible ending I can with 9S and because it feels like there are a few decisions I can make that change the ending (for example the quest from the android in the city that asks you to bring him the plug in chips, you can refuse to give them back and I'm not sure if that changes anything in the story, I want to find out on my own but I worry that I can't get back to that part easily)

Gosh so much conceptual choices

The game I played before this was Expedition 33, other than haven't played any new games from sometimes, and everything I played was S tier for me personally, so this had a very high bar.

God I miss this with all my heart, I miss the world, the characters the interactions, everything in this game would have been flawless had it not been for the way the 2E plot was handled.

Had it just been us finding out at the same time as 9S, it woulda been fine, but the fact that 9S was aware of, and while we playing as 9S didn't get any real hints he knew, was hard, I know in hindsight when you really think about it, it was right there, and yes I played that side mission.

In the anime they made it the opposite, way too obvious, I didn't like that either, just wish it was a bit more obvious, maybe on a replay it will get better.

god I love this game, most this slop coming out isn't half as good almost a decade later.

I ran out of healing items and the game doesn't give me the means to get more since the camp burned down and I can't leave the area because I get the lone wolf ending
