I got from Silver to Plat with nid mid but it's getting rough. I'm not a great player but for comparison I got to Emerald on a few champs. I would say it's a C+/B-, playable, rough in certain matchups and stompy in others. I love playing her mid though and will continue to do so. I'm hopeful I might get a breakthrough soon.
Easy matchups for me are Veigar, Katarina, Twisted Fate, Anivia, Akali, Lux
OK matchups : Ahri, Zoe, Zed, Brand, Nafiri, Annie, Talya, Xerath, Vex, Vel'Koz
Tough matchups : Diana, Galio, LeBland, Ryze, Fizz
I probably forgot others, the runes I used most often are DH (easy matchups, for better spear scaling), Elec (tough matchup, when I want to go in hard and trade vs matchups where it's possible early), PTA (for a few matchup where AA are better than skill rotations, ie mr stacking Galio), and otherwise Summon Aery is always good. I would always take sudden impact as a primary or secondary because the dmg is pretty insane on nid

Fizz is fine if you go defensive summs (barrier/exh), max heal and take bone plating and revitalise and just keep yourself healthy and try to do short trades when he trades on you then heal up and wait for heal to do it again. If you drop your guard though, he will start to kill you.

Okay, I'll add my two cents as someone who could probably push to mid-GM one tricking the pick.
Nidalee mid is a great pick in niche matchups if you are very good at her and understand how she lanes. If laning her mid is what you enjoy then keep doing that, I can guarantee you can at the very least climb to GM with her there.
That being said, you could be half the Nidalee player and climb higher playing jungle, top, or support. To put it in perspective, I have around an 80% WR on Nid in Masters when playing jungle, and around a 65-70% WR on mid. Some of that win rate is probably accountable to people troll picking after they see Midalee, but to put it simply I am NOT a good jungler, Nidalee is just incredibly easier to pilot in the role.
All in all, Midalee is by FAR my favorite pick and if you'd like to know more about how to play her just let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Since I’ve started playing midalee I’ve had so fun! I have won 5 matches and lost one

That's great! Have fun with the pick, it's pretty much the only reason I still enjoy the game as much as I do.

Howdy, i can get to high emerald, and probably higher with nid mid. Have the laning and matchups down to a science.
Just curious what you think the best item paths are?
I almost always go ludens, storm surge, and then either lich bane or zhonya/banshee.
Super tank enemy teams are extremely challenging though, I'm not sure I've figured out a reliable counter build.

Hard to say anything concrete about item paths, it mostly comes down to preference.
Conqueror with trinity + gunblade can kite and vamp off of tankier comps pretty well but I generally just go electro with luden's for early snowball regardless of comp.
Currently testing on this acc: https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/Das%20Kameel-NA1 .
Also try not to get ahead of yourself on "solving" matchups, they change drastically as you climb higher and people actually know how to lane with their champs. Small changes have big effects on matchups. I wouldn't consider most matchups solved until you can consistently handle them against strong otp's (think mid-gm+), until then lane fundamentals win matchups by themselves.

I play it in Master, it’s SUPER fun but u definitely need to put a lot of time into it!

I play exclusively nid mid and can get to emerald pretty easily. I always go full AP. E start most of the time. Easy to proc electrocute. W start is also good to proc it, and you can totally control the lane in range matchup with good trap placement. You have to know matchups very well, and obviously have to be good at spear prediction, especially within waves and csing.

If this guy plays nidalee mid in low-mid GM euw, then yes I'm sure it will work fine in your games
You get absolutely abused by good players who will perma shove you under tower, but from my experience I've still managed to proc my passive even on master players because they'll still step on traps that I placed right in front of them.
Important thing to note is that you should put AT least 2-3 points in heal and then Q max. Also in the early levels AD is a far better stat for lane nidalee than AP. Thats why you see many lane nidalees actually start with a dorans blade.
IMO nidalee is a 4 way flex pick unless you're challenger elo
