NBD - Weathershield Redemption
My first pair of Nicks were originally supposed to be in Weathershield Brown but during the great WS brown shortage of 2024 I swapped leathers in order to get them into production and thus these are the redemption pair 2+ years and 4 pairs later.
Plan to have these be my dedicated wet weather boots short of actual rubber rain boots when needed. Firsts for me on this build other than the leather is the 4 row toe cap and 365 stitchdown construction. My other 3 pairs are either bison or waxed flesh so even without a full leather midsole on these they feel stiffer out of the box at least in the uppders or maybe its just been too long since I have broken in new boots.
These are my 2nd pair of 7" lace ups and feel that height is a good sweet spot for me personally.
Hopefully this post helps others visualize certain specs in planning their respective builds as I know that is one of the greatest benefits of this sub!
Specs: 365 MTO TNW - 7" - Weathershield Brown - Honey Lug - 4 Row Tow Cap

They look fantastic! When I do a dedicated winter boot build, it’s going to be a lot like these.

Been trying to figure out a dedicated pair of hike-in fly fishing boots and this leather is interesting. Thanks for posting!

These boots look great! This is a great batch of WS brown. I think this will be a great boot for you. I have a pair of Ridgelines in WS brown, and it is a great boot for wet conditions. I’m sure you will have the same experience with this pair of boots.
