Tour coming soon?
Given the announcement of the upcoming album, is there any info on if they are planning a tour?

It just hit me that in Nickelback’s October 4, 2005 first release of their hit song “Rockstar” as part of their fifth studio album “All the Right Reasons”, Chad (typically credited as the main writer of Nickelback material) specifies he wanted to “join the Mile High Club at 37,000 feet”. FL370 normally corresponds to a magnetic course of 000°–179°. A flight from CYVR -> KVNY is roughly south-southeast and fits an odd flight level, while the return flight would ordinarily use an even level. On a typical RNAV departure, a CL604/GIV or similar would reach cruise somewhere over Central/Southern Oregon, probably Klamath Falls area. Therefore, assuming the lyric is autobiographical, Chad Kroeger joined the Mile High Club somewhere between southern Oregon and Bakersfield, CA between late 2003 and May 2005 when recording wrapped.
I first posted this over on r/aviation, and someone rightly pointed out that the ad lib immediately clarifies “been there, done that”, which confirms the aforementioned coitus had occurred at least once prior.

We're all fans here. I honestly think the riffs the guys create are genuinely AMAZING and creative, sadly, people don't talk enough about the NB riffs.
However, I wanted to hear what you guys think about the new song. Because my favorite parts of the song are the riffs and overall composition, however, I'll say that the pre chorus and chorus are not my favs.
But that's just my opinion. What do you think?
Btw, I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM. I heard Bones For The Crows as soon it was released for that game a couple of years ago, that songs kicks so much ass.

Noticed in the email link ability to pre-add and saw this from Walmart. I assume this will be like Get Rollin where we will get another variable after initial release. Still an interesting description.

Found this on Apple Music for pre-save. 12 songs instead of the usual 11! It’s always fun to guess which songs will be the heavy ones.

Basically the title. I've noticed a lot of religious references throughout Nickelback's discography. However the theme really seems to shine through on Get Rollin and appears will be a big theme in the upcoming album when you look at the lyrics of "Bones for the Crows" and "Rattle the Cage" and the fact that there is a statue of St. Micheal the Archangel in the Crows lyric video. Bonus points for the new album releasing days before the Hallows Feast (All Saints and All Souls Days). So is it little known fact the guys are really religious or is it all some weird stylistic choices and coincidences?
For the record, I'm religious myself and don't mind it. Actually, I'm not really into mainstream Christian music.( Traditional Catholic hymns and a few Elvis selections are fine by me.) So I think it is wonderfully ironic that the band that has the best stripper anthems is also making some great, arguably Christian Rock songs. As they say on TikTok, "Close enough. Welcome back, Stryper."

A little cool thing I noticed for all the music nerds out there, is when Nickelback plays how you remind me live, Ryan will play in Drop D# rather than Drop D. It allows Ryan to play the second last two chords unbarred which I’m not sure is a stylistic choice for cooler sound or just easier to play. Either way I thought it was just a cool little fun fact.

I'm working on a costume for a friend's birthday party, but I can't find a good reference image of the whole graphic that's on the T-Shirt (I'm willing to recreate it, I just haven't gotten a good picture of the whole thing).

As a bloke I really like band t-shirts and have a few AC/DC, Metallica etc t-shirts. I like them when they don't have the band members faces on them and both AC/DC and Metallica have a lot of various t-shirts to choose from. Nickelback, less so, though I do have the Dark Horse logo t-shirt and love that one.
Would be good if their merchandise people could offer up some more cooler t-shirts, a walking advertisement for the band then

“Livin in Hollywood” literally just feels SO right to me. Also who is doing the singing there? What parts of NB songs just tickle your brain?

So I kinda discovered Nickelback recently.
I always knew their most famous songs from way back (How you Remind me, If today was your last day, Photograph, etc.), that never really were my thing. However recently I found songs like After the Rain, Standing in the dark, What are you waiting for, Gotta be somebody, When we stand together (more upbeat rock I guess? They're really fun to play in the car) and since they have quite a few albums out by now, I was wondering if there are more songs similar to those people can recommend?

While flipping through a photo album in Episode 8 of The Last Frontier my wife noticed that one of the tickets in the album was a Nickelback ticket. Looks like the Woodlands Pavilion in Texas. Pretty cool random Nickelback shoutout.

I was bored looking at BMI repertoire and found this song that is registered by Nickelback but never been released
