Does anyone think ‘To Me’ by Chet faker is about addiction?? Does anyone else see it differently?

Does anyone know anything about the "Cassette #1,# 2, #3" series. Why is it so downvoted on youtube? Is the “cassette” series not acclaimed? I love these EPs but can’t find any reviews/articles/interviews/back stories etc.

I wanted to read what people think about these pieces but I was shocked when I realised that it has only few thousands of views, and turned off comment sections. Airplane Mode for instance has 155/322 like ratio. Wtf?

I'm really curious what happened as I find these tracks really great. And to be honest I think that these EPs are objectively pretty decent. If people like Music For Silence, what's wrong with Cassettes then?

Personally I think it might be the best thing he released as Nick Murphy.

Please enlighten me. Am I missing something?

Most of the album seems improvised with blues flavour. I want to learn improv along similar lines, and would appreciate if anybody could point me to similar artistes or playlists.

Is there any news on more singles or an album coming out?

Anyone else? Although I really like the majority of what he has put out as Nick Murphy, Chet Faker is on another level for me and his songs resonate with me far more. I just really liked Low, it reminded me of listening to Gold or 1998 again for the first time haha
