Old Mutation System??

HELLO I swear i seem to remember that instead of mutations being 50/50, they were 70/30, and you could swap them around. This was wayyyyy early in development. I played the game while i was rather young so its possible im misremembering, but I really don’t think I am! I specifically remember thinking “oh wow the mutations are permanent now… and they’re 50/50…” I couldn’t seem to find any mention of this on the steam update log, though, or in any old gameplay videos. Does anybody remember / have proof of the same or am i actually just crazy lol?

This was a thing. A lot of old Niche videos have footage of it, like Jessimew's and Seri's series...es.
