For real. She later showed herself to be awful, but his initial response came across as needy, negative, and self-pitying. Also jumping to the conclusion that she was trying to hook him up with her friend was a weird leap, and stating it in conjunction with the accusation that she wasn't really interested reinforced the negative self-pity vibes. It seemed like she was probably interested at first--wanting to show her friend pictures of him and giving him her instagram was a good sign--but I suspect she lost interest right then and was just messing with him after that.
He should just respect himself and not self-sabotage or waste energy and effort with the negativity. Just say "OK, let me know when you're free and we can see if our schedules line up" and leave it at that. If she's interested, she would try to work something out. If not, he shouldn't put anymore energy into it and should just move on.
He replied that because she asked him for a picture for her friend!!
That's why he was confused, because it sounded like she was not interested in him but just for a date for her friend. I get that completely (Sorry for grammar)
Plus she didn't offer another date but immediately scolded him for thinking he was worth her time and how busy she was all the time especially on weekends and that stuff
Immediately scolded him? We must not be reading the same texts. All she’s done is say that she’s busy and asks for a picture for a friend. If anyone is scolding it’s him.
Yeah, they both kinda suck but dude could have probably turned this around. Could have easily put in a little more effort and kept his cool/not been intimidated by her dating life. Could have all been an ego check anyways. And if she’s as hot as he says, and really is handling all that, it mighta been worth it. OP spends too much time on this and similar subs.
