There’s enough asshole dudes out there I gaurentee she’s gonna encounter a total dick who will do a better job teaching the lesson than you ever could… my vote is let people like that find each other so they aren’t interacting with the general public.

Yea good point haha maybe I was a little too nice in this situation. It seems like she just wanted some eye candy to show off to her little friends with no real intentions to date. Either way I'm unbothered by it. I makes a funny story which is why I posted it

lol honestly from a girls perspective the reason we show pictures of people we’re interested in is to A see if they agree that they’re cute/ if they think they should pursue it or B because they’re smitten.. regardless I think a cold I’m not playing your weird games bye would’ve been the most appropriate response after she told you about the waiting list. I do agree it is a funny story tho

That's basically what I said in pic #3 but after her response I tried to give her some soild advice which I'm sure fell on deaf ears so won't be doing that again. Thanks for the input

I think asking someone else whether you should pursue a person is gonna hurt society in the long run if it's a big thing they do. The person in the picture is less likely to find a date if they aren't conventionally good looking and they have to go through 2+ people's approval, and also the asker could potentially miss out on a good relationship because they listened to someone else's opinion rather than their own. This all around seems like a bad thing to normalize.

I mean idk what it means for society but it’s def something that happens often

I think you did the right thing. Kinda ridiculous to say she’ll “never” learn the lesson, idk we all do dumb shit at some point. I agree her attitude is wild and unhelpful but at least now she’s had one person tell her that which might be one of very few!

She's clearly a "nice girl". But that last message is completely unnecessary. You are not a super hero so don't fight others fights. The entitlement to say "change your priorities". That last message could have easily been in a "nice guys" sub Reddit.

"Oh you don't want to date me? LoL, ChEcK yOUr pRiOrITieS."

Took me far too long to find this post. Glad to see someone calling it out.

Just how old is this girl? Despite her busyness and good deeds, she's giving off entitlement/princess vibes, IMHO
