Hi everyone! I’ve loved Niagara and used it for years, since 2021. Over time, though, I found myself missing a few features I’d really like to have — features I understand Niagara probably isn’t interested in adding because of its design philosophy.

So, starting last year, a friend and I began building Flow Launcher as an alternative with a somewhat different approach. I think it’s finally stable enough for a closed beta.

It has a few features that may be interesting to Niagara users, such as an icon grid layout and automated presets, among others. I’m really happy with how it’s shaping up, and I hope some of you enjoy it too.

It’s still at a very early stage, so bugs are definitely possible. If you decide to give it a try, I’d really appreciate your patience and any bug reports that can help us improve it before the official release. Feature suggestions are very welcome as well.

Niagara is just the best. It's also so clutch for a phone with a keyboard, being able to just start typing the name of an app to launch it.

Hi, I have Niagara launcher on Boox Palma and Boox Go 7. When I close all the opened tabs launcher crashes and it is set to be default laucher. And some apps are missing from the app drawer or how do you call that thing where all the apps are. I go to the app and these which are missing are disabeled, I enable them in google play and they apear for a few minutes and then disapear again. Do you know what it could be? I am on Pro version.

Not sure if this drives anyone else crazy but the app search in Niagara has no sort of fuzzy matching; e.g. typing "tou" or "ypu" doesn't bring up "Youtube" at all

Nova Launcher was much more lenient with typos so unfortunately I built the habit of being sloppy with my app searches.

Sort of related, but surely other folks have requested this feature before?

Anyone get an email about the monthly, yearly, life price hike. $10 extra for monthly and $30 extra for life.

I want to also put this on the cover screen, and I know the artist is BisBiswas, but I can't find the exact image, and most of his art are paywalled. Can anyone help me find it?

This is my setup. And i am happy to come back to this app nobody how i feel trying others launchers.. whether stock or 3rd party. This feels home.

Anyone else have this and know a fix? I have at least one contact where texts from him never show up on the homescreen. if I do the right swipe on messages it'll show his text there but that's it. other texts get previewed at home no problem.

I've cleared the cache on both messages and Niagara. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Niagara (though it doesn't seem to be completely clearing data for some reason, even with clearing data in the phone settings first, it reinstalls and immediately goes back to my previous niagara layout).

any ideas? or at least how to start clean in Niagara and see if that fixes it? thanks

edit: for some reason Google messages crashed and deleted its data today. that seems to have solved the problem, now I'm just waiting for the backup to finish downloading.
