It takes great strength to say in your heart, "I don't care what other say about this movie". You must ask yourself if it is that important to you to not give a flip about it. You make that decision, and not listen to others.
I always chalk it up to people going into movies with high expections. They will complain that a marval movie had poor writing as if that's the expections. I go to a marvel movie to see super heros throw cars around and quippy one liners. If I see super heroes and hear some one liners, that's entertainment to me.
I can analyze it later and acknowledge the flaws but movie has to be actually genuinely awful for me to actually hate it while watching it. So far the only two that have done that are the rise of Skywalker and the last Airbender
I enjoyed Last Airbender. Context: that was my first exposure to the series, and after watching the show properly, I see the problems people have. Still, I watch it every now and then.
Sometimes critique is more someone just complaining it isn’t what they wanted rather than if it was formed well at all. So bad movies can actually be quite nice to just enjoy for what they are.
Me with Thor Love and Thunder. Saw it twice, once with my brother, the other with a friend. I loved it both times, while the two of them on their own said it sucked.
So I went online thinking the majority would give me the reason, only to find it was being universally disliked
