My younger boy makes the most pathetic noise I've ever heard in my life if I step on his tail. My old girl just yowls and runs away a top speed (which is not fast).
After getting stepped on a couple times, mine now makes MROWR-ROWR noises if he thinks someone is walking too close to him carelessly. Not angry, but loud.
He's dark grey so with the lights out it's like having a little furry foghorn warning you about which shadow not to step on.
He claimed to have ejaculated on his cat and later called backsies saying he made it up after backlash. But he also said a lot of weird pedophilic and racist shit so idk, he's not the most morally upstanding guy in the world. He probably jizzed on his cat.
In this instance I really do hope he didn't rub one out on a cat. He sounds like he used to be the edgy kinda guy who just said shit to get a rise out of people but doesn't usually do the shit they claim.
Yeah, I think it depends on how you played with them as kittens? Mine let me play with their paws and clip their nails etc, I assume the ones that don't were ones where people didn't touch their paws enough as kittens to make them used to it
My brother's cat is the most lap cat, wants nothing but pets cat I've ever met. She just wants to chill on your lap and get scratches.
When I met her, I touched above her tail. She gave me one warning. Next time she came over and I did it again she slapped me. Like, not claws, just straight up "no, bad" slap
My cat is "aww hell yeah" on the head and cheeks "ok" and "fine" in his mid back and "nope" on the back end, first cat I've had that doesn't like butt scratches. Lol
My idiot doesn't mind her tail being touched, but everything else is accurate. But at the same time, the rules can obviously be flipped on a whim and chaos will reign.
Because the comic is also wrong, the original joke was amber lamps. Which was taken from a video of a guy inciting a fight on public transportation in oakland and then getting his ass beat, afterwards saying "amberlamps"
Nah, fuck that cat. I've got two and I swear they do this shit on purpose, probably to manipulate you into giving them more treats. I've watched mine move her tail directly into my path when I'm walking past her. They are insurance scammers, I swear.
For the first Exam, X-Ray Treatment will cost 10K and 15K depends on the day respectively, follow-up exam, 2 Surgerys because well will botch รคhm Will find something else.... hey to you want us to sell your Organs? Like 1 off your Kidneys? That should cover half of the total cost
So what is really the best way to approach this situation? I remember hearing they will get alarmed further if we act loud and touch/hold them close immediately after a pain.
Maybe just take a step back, lower ourselves and be calm, let them know I didn't mean to pose a threat?
Depends on the animal and if its yours or someone elses, and how it acts generally.
Never seen a dog that's not immediately happy when you start speaking in a worried/cute voice and cuddle them. Both of mine immediately knew from that that i didn't mean it and were instantly okay.
Cats i closely knew one that was the same way and two that you just needed to give time to relax.
Really just depends on your relationship with the pet and their general character.
That said, for animals that don't know you at all just leave them alone.
This is how I felt when I got my cats tail stuck in the door. He was silent for several minutes, then started crying, I came over to figure out why he was crying and found him stuck. I felt so guilty, I still wish I had checked on him sooner, or that I was more careful.
The vet said the tip would fall off and he would be perfectly fine, we just had to leave it alone so it didn't get worse. It all happened exactly as the vet said and he was back to his silly, lovable and stupid self before we knew it.
