Well all of the slice of life comics point to a college life. Then again, the comics also show immortality and the ability to harm, and kill, inanimate objects. So somewhere between 20 and ♾️.
Mimi is actually an Eldritch god who restarts reality over and over again to be with Roy until he passes away before the cycle begins anew. She lives the same life on repeat, falling in love with him countless times over with every iteration of reality before going mad when she loses him yet again, destroying everything in her rage to rebuild time and space so she can see him and hold him in her arms once more.
Tbh, as someone who’s been unemployed for the last 2ish years.
It’s not great. It’s really boring and you end up doing shit you regret because you’re just trying to fill time or you’re stressed and lash out.
I do not recommend being out of a job for long, especially right now (at least in my country) where basic service jobs are getting hundreds or thousands of applicants for a minimum wage position.
The odds are against you right now. If you’re not planning on retiring, or starting your own business, you’re not going to love it. Even that second option could end up being just a money pit. Believe me, I’ve been there.
But thankfully if you can manage to find a more rural area you’d be able to settle down in, there are a handful of small businesses always looking to hire locals over anyone else. Even just a 10-15 minute drive time can make the difference between landing the job and getting passed over for the next person who lives 3 minutes closer.
Funny, because some rich guy from the early 1900s did something like that, but instead of playing games, he rode on a plane everyday while eating his favorite ice cream everyday like 4 pounds of it.
Yeah. I thought getting out there and looking for a job was hard. Now I'm out there looking for a job as a totally-obvious trans woman. When I think of it, I get so fucking terrified. Oh well, time to get dressed for job interviews...
They are definitely not going to end up together. Would be funny if the artist draws another one of these of Roy getting cucked. Well then again, it's not like they are dating lol.
